. . . as they learnt us in arithmetic class, the diameter of a circle is usually equal to the circumference divided by π . So this is the equation: D = C/ π (I rounded off π since it’s a transcendental number anyway.)
<="" font=""> 24” / 3.14159265358979323846 = 7.6394” expressed as a decimal, which, when translated to its fractional equivalent, is 7 ⅝” plus or minus a frog’s hair.
