1857 HC Lithos NAPOLEON COURT Mmes JUNOT & REGNAULT FINE GOLD FRAMES -$72
I have a little situation here this morning, and it is has thrown us into one of those rare occasions when eBay’s feedback system may actually save the day, not just for me but for you as well.
It’s pretty simple. Something happened to my camera, and even though I think I know the cause, the images of this pair of really fine old hand colored lithographs done after the drawings of J. Champagne don’t show them as they really are: Crisp, bright, detailed and in fine condition.
Not only is the matting on the first one even, clean and bright, it is fabric; silk, I think. There is no discoloration as my image makes it appear. The lady is Madame Junot, a member of Napoleon’s Court. As I recall, they had a little thing going after she was widowed.
Back on the 12th of March, two planets, Jupiter and Venus I think they were, lined up in the sky, and I went out one evening to have a look. There they were, bright as could be, so I (stupidly) decided to take a picture of the sky – possibly to use as the background on my monitor.
That’s when my camera started acting up, and I think it’s because it picked up some sort of alien virus emanating from Venus or Jupiter. (That’s my story, and I’m sticking with it.)

VINTAGE Japanese DOUBLE GOURD Art Pottery VASE, Heavy Golden Drip Glaze, SIGNED -$89
I don’t remember exactly how many years it’s been, several I know, that I started stashing away pieces of Japanese or Chinese pottery or porcelain that seemed interesting. I found this one a few weeks ago, and when I went to stick it in my secret storage spot, it was full. So I guess I may as well sell them all – beginning with this elegantly shaped double-gourd vase.
