antique victoria faux bamboo ebonized stand w/FABRIC top- hand embroidered- $227

Call it High Victorian - or point to it as an example Japanese art and design influence on furniture makers of the emerging Aesthetic Movement.
I believe one would be correct either way – but one thing is beyond dispute.  Stands combining ebonized wood with embroidered fabric are extremely rare. I have seen only two over the last forty or fifty years – this one and another similar stand table pictured on the Internet.
