Antique PORCELAIN TOKEN Brooch/Pin 1925 LEIPZIG TRADE FAIR, Nude Female ART DECO -$39

Not far down the road from our house is window factory with a huge sign out front: “SINCE 1925” under their name. Since finding this Rosenthal commemorative plaque or token or brooch, it’s actually all three, when I drive by that sign I can’t keep from chuckling to myself because when old man Schechter produced his first window the Leipzig Trade Fair had been going on for 760 years.

Whether it was sold at the fair already having the brooch clips and pin, I don’t know. It will come off easily and without damage to the porcelain.

No, McDonald’s wasn’t a sponsor. That is the logo of the Trade Fair.

I absolutely, positively must sell him now because he has taken up residence beside my fireplace, and if he stands there any longer, I’ll grow much too attached.
