darn. nobody said my poetry sucks.

okay. friday recipe blogging. not that it is a recipe.

cranberry relish

take one bag of cranberries(2cups?). grind raw, like coffee grounds
take one orange. grind. like coffee grounds.
mix.
add sugar to taste.
if you don't like to use an orange or ain't got one. 3 spoonfuls of frozen orange concentrate works good too.

or

cranberry sauce

2 cups or bag of cranberries. put in large sauce pan on low heat, with maybe 1/3 c water
i add a good 1/2 of liquer. i have used rasberry, lingonberry(which is a euro crabberry), and this year, cream de cassis.
don't use schnapps! not good enough dammit.
add some frozen orange juice.3 spoonfuls again
about 3c of sugar.
when good and mushy. turn off heat.
and if you have access, a cup of rasberries. i have access to nice frozen ones.
chill.
very good with a bird.

well, the idiot bush does live near mexico. he might know that.

and don't forget. i started friday recipe blogging, so go back for the best damn caramel for apples.

now what to do this friday? cranberry fluff, or cranberry relish?

ok, i just used serapi cause it rhymes. i KNOW its a poncho.

well, THE pansypoo, pansy, had to go to the vet. another UTI. luckily caught earlier than usual. god she is expensive. had to get a quick appointment.(why are animals easier?) when i got there, there was 2 big dogs. 2 other cats and OOH! one of them aussie flying rodents. or is it a marsupial. looked a lot like our flying sqiorrels, but bigger.
much easier to cat around compared to my big pansy cat. and she gained weight. up to 12.3.
one dog was kinds pretty(too much pit bull or rotty. but was part husky and had one blue eye and one brown eye. the old BIG mutt was pretty, but i have always been partial to german shepherds. but can i say anything about the human baby? of course not. blegh. i am sticking to furry beasts.

maybe flipping channels and hitting The Scarlet Letter with Demi Moore(oy vey what a crime against literature). i think maybe we liberal should start embroidering Ls on our clothes ala laverne.
or maybe just ironing them on.

well, i can't procrastinate any longer.
