SQUIRREL MENACE CONQUERED
the squirrel was trapped yesterday and spent the night in the cage. poor thing, i hate to say i tortured it with the camera flash and talking to it.
it was a still pregnant. poor thing rubbed it's head bald.
but on the bright side, no dead baby squirrels in the house and they all have a chance elsewhere. we just gotta hope the father doesn't care. but the house is temporarily sealed.
sigh. now only one yard rat. although plenty of chipmunks now.

read ALMANAC,, and the hoistory of them, most interesting was the CLOGG ALMANAC, for the illiterate serfs/farmers. a 3-d ruler if you will with notches and symbols. i would love to see one. surely there is a museum with a couple? the internets had NOTHING.poo. wonder if the MET has any.

THE SQUIRREL MENACE-EPISODE PI
like star wars with fur. well, the 'plug' lasted til this morning. while waiting for my coffee, i look ourside. squirrel at the plug, and...what is that stuff falling? what? sawdust?
go outside and yell at squirrel. it had already opened a fresh hole in the soft pine. the chicken wire still there.
have my coffee, call siders.pute.
go reheat coffee. squirrel at hole again.go out and yell at it. it sits on the wire looking at that silly human yelling at her. runs away.
go back inside. pute. get call back from siders. around 10 they show up.oh shit. is that the scrubbing pad in the lilac bush?
yes. and the chicken wire too. my unbcle does not understand vermin.
and so it continues.......

RANDOM SHEEPSHEAD POST
was playing that german card game on yahoo.jack of diamonds partner.
well, i was 1st. had the Jd, and also the 2 black queens(highest cards), another trump, 10 of hearts and an ace.
nobody picked. so a leaster. now. if you take all of the tricks in a leaster you win. i had never ever seen that. but couldn't hurt trying.
played the 10 of hearts 1st. nobody wanted that trick. 2 queens takes out 10 trump(lots of js fell and 2 queens. jack of diamonds took the ace of diamonds and another trump. last trump and the ace was golden.
grandp would have been proud. now have to gloat to family! what a glorious hand!
