the casino project. besides a dozen or so windows, plus four signs with painted hands pointing to more casinos(the disgner couldn't draw a hand for shit. had to redo it, and paint it, each hand came out a different ethnicity it seems, had a george hamilton hand, a chinese hand, an albino i think too. and the paint thinner was clove oil. very heady. had to glue one finger. broke while firing the paint.
ANYWAYS. we stayed at work til after midnight to get those 1st 3 columns done. while i was soldering a window, i noticed that the boss had one side backwards. luckily, only one panel off, but she had to go off and have a cigarette and i un-soldered it. no BIG delay. WHEW, it it had been in a completed one? NOOOOOOoooooo! the designer was stupid. disney man. didn't have the vines going all the way past the strip. the background glass was clear with fractures. woulda looked stoopid. so i fixed that to. cripes, what would have happened if i hadn't fixed these designer mistakes? nothing, i am sure, but....

old house with details LOST in the 70's crapola. shag everywhere. painted wood. it was quite sad. lot of CRAP, but hey! COW SKULL! yep, that went into my $3 bag. i got a lot of stuff. pile of maps? just throw them in. had a really cool 1. a pre-interstate map of some chain of something bridge it was around st. louis. or maybe a the beginning of interstate. what else did i sell from there? gave my aunt the violetish glass plates. i guess the cow skull took a lot of room in my bag.

from a WIERD estate sale. if i remember right. 8 kids. only one married. nobody had lived in the house for 40 years. or let's just say wedding cake from 1950's in the freezer. there was SPATS! oh lordy, cold cellar of horrors. WHAT IS IN THAT CANNING JAR! eew, label says plums 1948. oh, it was SCARY! the 'kitchen' wasn't really a kitchen. hmm, do i remember heating ducts? no $3 bag. i didn't buy much, no ebayables. i still like the old old catholic travel pin. st. christopher pin. has a 30's car. an old rail engine/train, an old plane, and a ship. i think i posted a pic when i got it. also got a carved lion head, which is just like the lion on n old family chair. we only have one, my great great aunts took all their sister's stuff, so her kids didn't get much. hrrmpf. but auntie has plenty. which is WHY i got that little lion.
