DANIELL, SAMEUL- will's younger bro. b. 1775. brought up as an engraver. exhibited in 1792, years later went to the cape + traveled africa. published his african studies. left for ceylon in 1806, til his death. camping + malaria brought his death in 1811.
the striped horsy thing is an EXTINCT zebra sub species. shit. CLONE IT! make them again! i wanna see them again.

WILLIAM, under thomas' care. in 1784, he left for india w/ the boy, + found calcutta ample encouragement. stayed 10 years. on return, published 'oriental scenes', in 6 large volumns. not co,mplete til 1808. from 1795-1828 continued to exhibit eastern subjects, temples, jungle hunts, etc. + continued publishing illustrated works. mainly a almost forgotten engraving process-AQUATINT, nephews died before him(91 at death). bachelor.-WILLIAM DANIELL- 1769-1837. 14 when in india w/ uncle tom. did own engraving,publishing. turned to panoramic painting before death
