It’s too bad I had to give it away in the title. It would have been fun to have you guess what it is and what it does.
Unscrew the top and set it aside.
Please notice the chips on the back of the black plastic mounting. I’ve had this piece forever, and all that time I’ve been looking for a round piece of Bakelite (red or black) on which to mount it. Wouldn’t that be a killer?! I’m sure I’ll find one the day after I ship it to you.
Now put the top on the rod that popped up when you removed it.
Viola! You have the neatest little postage scale on the face of the earth. It weighs up to 8 oz.
