I could see the giant, clad in armor head to toe, awkwardly making his way down the steep slope, stumbling from time to time, helped to his feet by two men whose real job was to carry his shield. When he finally made it down to the flat but rocky floor of the Valley of Elah, he stood and called out with a thunderous roar. “Choose a man and have him come down to me. If he kills me, we will become your servants forever and ever.”
I was not afraid, nor was I weighted down with armor, so I scampered down from “our” mountainside in no time, stopping along a dry creek bed for ammo.
