UNFORTUNATELY all my pics from this sale were POOFED in my new digital camera. FUCK!!!!! well, the sale of a KOHLER(toilet barons of WI) in sept i think i emailed ryan see if he could do it. 4 day sale. sat + sun. YES! ooh. so. these i had stolen from the web site. the paisley above was already gone of course. well, we started early! it opened at 9. there was a small crowd waiting. check out tent OUTSIDE. OMG, what stuff old people w/ money have. while waiting we checked out the garage. where we went inside too. big old traditional looking house.but oh my, addition added onto the back. OH FUCK. i just remembered the patent model? thing in the basement in a glass case. well, i found a few things in the garage or outside. wood hangers. names called after about 10 min. went into the kitchen. LOTS of cookie cutters + TONALAS. ryan helped get them off a high shell to check them. they had a BIG duck/goose, extra big bird. near the front door exit/ was a HUGE pot w/ the mouth up.
i was a good girl. i only got a squirrel  a $1 bird.  there was a BIG dish pantry and another storage room to the right w/ decorations + more dishes. LOTS of glasses. stuff stuff mexican black on black di=aily dishes. then a little dinning room. then a formal one in the addition. SHIT. you should have seen the black forest TALL chest. a big sideboard. VERY FANCY. 2 big arm chairs by the window. that's where we found the ASIA magazines. GOOOOOGLE asia magazine. sadly they were $6 each. i went thru all of them. it came down to 2. they were SO PURE deco. i think we went in the basement 1st. OMG the books. the basement had some awesome old ones, but mostly paperbacks. + then that weird model). a room off to the west of the dinning room, i guess a library/lounge. piano" yeah. FULL OF STUFF. the political buttons on a couch. republican. $$$. too many books to even consider. tho, in another room off the informal lounge? i found childrens books. me + illustration. i got 3. saw a hoard of straight razors + other things. but at full price, i am glad i limited my grabs. went upstairs. oh fooey, i lost the pics of the old furniture up there. mid 1800's a little later. fun to look at.

sigh.

after the sale, we drove into sheboygan to look for a pizza place i saw on a local PBS show. the chef own 3 all close, the $$$ fancy place not open. we went o the shop 1st. nearly ate there, but i said no, gotta do pizza next door. fancy italian wood brick oven.
after that we checked on the tree we discovered in forest home cemetery to see if it had changed colors. yes. it finally was changing.
