I want to call your attention to the lovely violet color most now call “sun purple.” You know what would be handy? It would be really nice if a scientist somewhere found a way to fiddle around with our genes in such a way that our skin would turn a nice violet color when exposed to ultraviolet rays instead of us getting sunburns, skin cancer and worse.
