The word “rare” most certainly applies to this sterling silver case because it is not only a stunning Socony-Vacuum advertising piece with enameling and a diamond, it is also, according to the engraving on the lid, an “award” to the “Mobiloil Prize Winner” in 1941. His name was Clarence Haueseman.
