Here’s my predicament: I’ve never seen a Chinese vase used as a platform for folk art painting – or American Hand Decorated China for that matter. I’ve just about had a nervous breakdown thinking about it. Several bottles of nerve pills later, and I am as much in the dark as when I started. (You know what? I don’t think people even have “nervous breakdowns” anymore. The fad has gone the way of falling to floor in a swoon, aka, fainting.)
