I lived in Wilkinsburg 1969-71. A few blocks back in the Penn Ave./Rte. 30 picture you showed.
This place was probably there, but converted into apartments. No visitor would want to stay in a Wilkinsburg hotel: the town was dry.
When this pic was taken, the whole country may have been dry.
