I’ve been kinda holding back on selling any antique silver for fear some numbskull who has absolutely no sense of history, art, aesthetics or respect for craftsmen of an earlier age would end up with it and sell it for its scrap value. But I’ve found a solution that I think will work. I’m going to start listing sterling and other silver pieces of a quality and age that far outweigh their “melt value,” and I’m depending on you to keep it out of the hands those scouring eBay for anything they might make a nickel on by destroying.
