RANDOM ESTATE SALE
DAMMIT, i forgot my camera. excellent area. wisconsin ave around WAWAtosa. sigh. gorgeous wood korbels by the front dor. 20's house. brick. leaded windows. sun porch. VERY nice UNPAINTEd stained wood storm door. ours is painted. need too strip it. nice front hall and nice front door. no spanish plaster, but fancy plaster cornices(?).bypass livingroom to the left and go straight into a bedroom? lots of steins and stuff. nothing for me. go out the other door into a kitchen area. OMG the nice wooden kitchen nook breakfast area. built in benches w/ a big window looking on the backyard. the kitchen still had the old 20's unpainted wood cupboards. off to the basement. large, but unfishished. i found some bits and there was a guy looking thru tools and bit and i asked any ice picks? said he''d have it if there was one. ANOTHER ICE PICK COLLECTOR!!! off to the attic. BOOKS. interesting picture books. nothing but books in the attic. nothing in the kitchen. walk thru the paassage to the panstry + dinningroom and OOOH, talk that twisted butter knife. more steins(steins EVERYWHERE). beautiful low buffet. lovely windows. nothing in the living room but more unpainted woodwork! lovely house. nice garage too. spent to much on books.
