RANDOM ESTATE SALE

a rare saturday say. 3 generation ad said, but mostly 'republican' souvineers. basement had a bunch of fodor books. i like sales with lots of stuff to poke thru. i forgot to put in the norway enameled plate, nice green. ebay! and myy brother got a clancy book. i paid a whole 50ยข. almost got a 1800's webster' dictionary(1875?), but too sad. no illustrations. bad paper. accidently shoplifted the carved wood rabbit. now, if i HAD put it in my pocket, i woulda remembered it! the plate has the aztec calendar on it, so i am hoarding it. i have an aztec calendar collection i guess. ooh, where's the wood armadillo? forgot that too. yes. paid for it. the buffalo-buffalo? cookie stamp was the olt interesting one, tho they did have another interesting critter. buffalo cookies??? the wood boat house with the castro boat. now, is it pre bay of b=pigs or post? it's from the chili lake area, chili. hmm.......when did che die in bolivia? the little vase goes into the ceramics collection perfectly.
the house? older. maybe the 30's. maybe older, but not fancy. kinda small. bad flow. did a quick look thru livingroom to make sure i got what i wanted, then dinningroom. the had a lot of BIG carved wood stuff. too $$$. $1 for the norway plate/bowl? much more my range. sigh. no old goodies in the kitchen. crappy flatware. republican?? 4th generation keep the good stuff? grabbed the acorn stairned glass,nothing in hall closet, down to basement. big upright piano. player? where do the rolls go? lot of books! hardcover/paperback. suspense/spy/mystery/classics etc. none i wanted. found the aztec cal on the little bar. no tools. pout. back upstairs to 2nd floor, weird place for the clothes chute. mid way up, not quite a landing. 4 bedrooms. lotta crap, but found the vase. more crap books. crap crap crap, back to livingroom. think i found 1 more thing. looked at the old websters. all in all way more fun than the mall for $8.
