no, supposed to be a frog. little dangly bits reflect under water in the sun and attract the fish. not sure which is stupider. the fish or the fishermen. and they say women like sparkly things.
I detected the frog, but
1) the thing is huge
2) the spinner blades are strangely positioned. One is at the critter's butt and the other two sort of block the hooks.
3) it has four treble hooks. Don't Fish & Game Commissions have limits on that sort of thing?

might be for musky or something big on mississippi. big bass? i'd have to ask my cousin. or great lake trout? nah. frogs wouldn't be there....swamp fishing for gators?
Musky/pike makes sense. I rejected gators figuring you'd want just one or two really stout hooks.

maybe bass. something that obviousy fights. maybe something in the mississippi that gets off the hook a lot. cetainly NOT walleye.
