What was it? I've got some guesses, but they work better if I leave out parts.
Without the smaller building at left and the bell tower: high school or grade school. too much open space for a courthouse or city hall.
With the bell tower: main building of small college.
What's on the roof? Copper is going for around $3.00/lb.

think it was an old municipal building. can't remember. going thru the abandoned places archives.
$3 a lb? when the garage got re-shingled, salvaged all the copper that was on the edges. and good thing the copper gutters are painted. maybe i should just recycle the copper.

Theft of copper wiring and piping from both construction and demolition sites is a serious business.
The price of scrap will depend on a lot of factors. As a starting point, you will probably find copper with the precious metals prices on the financial page of your paper. If pure, the stuff weighs 559 lbs./cu. ft = .32 lb./cu. in.
