RANDOM LOL POST
i actually sent this to my cousin from cue overload, but it has been deleted. and i love the baby puffer. major memory for me and so i love puffer fishes. my grandma F was a excellent decorator and when i was young she had silver/gold/black/white cool wallpaper in the batheroom. it sort of was like metalic granitish looking. and a freeze dried puffer fish hung from the ceiling above the bathtub. and so, i have a plastic disney puffer fish toy. and when i encounter them, i am reminded of a happier time before george. i long for the post A.G. era.

Hi Pansypoo,
I was thinking about your Mac again. So - here's a question for you. Has a working mail account every been setup in the Mail program? If no, would you LIKE one set up? Like, for instance, a gmail account? Or the one provided by your service provider? I've seen people accidently half set up the Mail account to check for a .Mac account (which they don't have) and then it keeps asking for this famous non-existent password. Maybe that's the boat your in.

i don't think i set it up, cause i have 2 eddresses already. and craigs list auto went to the apple mail. i figured i just had to come up with a password.
i did apparently just register my puter with apple, and still no luck on the mac mail.

If you go to the Mail Menu (which will be the first menu to the right of the Apple when you have Mail open) you'll see a "Preferences" option. If you click on that, a dialog box will open with different buttons along the top. The first will be General, the second will be Accounts.
Click on Accounts. You'll then see a list, down the left hand side, of all the accounts you have setup. My guess is that you'll see a .Mac account there, which you'll want to then click on so that it's highlighted, then hit the "-" key at the bottom to delete it.
If we're right and the issue is a .Mac account that's only partly setup, then this should take care of it.
