RANDOM ESTATE SALE/EBAY POST
went to a so-so estate sale today. spent too much. but hopfully the blatz beer tray will make it worth it. but last week i went to a very norwegian estate sale and i found this very old handmade knife. very wicked looking. very sharp. and no idea what it is made to butcher. sort of like a filet knife. whale? anybody know anything about knifes?

The blade certainly looks like it started out as something else.
Also, sharpened a gazillion times to give it the bowed in shape in front of the grip.
If you were cleaning a lot of fish in a hurry, you might use it to slice open the belly without cutting into the icky parts. Depends a bit on your overall approach to the job.
