RANDOM HOARD POST

this is a small ancient bronze korean(in japanese style) from an estate sale i went to a year or so into my doing them. HUGE house on lake drive. one of the arts and crafts homes with a bronze plaque and lots of original features inside. people who lived there MAJOR art pottery collectors and such. i have lots of photos i will post eventually. need my OS 9 files!
in the basement were tons of old auction catalogues and boxed lots. i dug in this one box of very old bronze korean bells and found this plaque. has 2 holes i think. no idea what it is, but very nice. very pretty. i think i got this and a bell for $2 each. gotta look at my notebooks.
also found out about a luncheon plate i had gotten at another sale for 50ยข. they had a complete set of dishes like it. same pattern as the one at this well known yosemite lodge. think yosemite. built of concrete to look like wood. saw a doc on it.
