RANDOM HOARD POST
carved nut thing. not sure if the figures are monkeys or men. rather neat object found at an estate sale eons ago, and i bet i got it for 50ยข.
anybody else know anything?

not really sure, not playing clarinet or sax. appear to be just resting their heads. but there isn't much you can carves into what they are made of. i just thought it was wonderfully funky.
i have sold some carved peach pits before. a couple baskets and i think one face. never saw them before and then spotted a bunch on ebay.
it's rather large an small. about 1 1/2 inch wide. maybe 2. one of my favorite estate objects. woulda loved to show keith this. see what he would think of it.
