RANDOM MANHATTAN POST

when i went to NYC the first time. you could say i was on a mission. i hit every yarn store there, and on the way, i seemed to see all the best bits. flat iron, grand central station and the crysler. the power of YARN!

Comments:
did you hit Purl in Soho? any pics of your yarny thingies?

no, i don't think i hit soho. it was on the south end. i still STILL get sale flyers! i think the name started with yarn something. hmm, maybe in the east teens.
i haven't posted a quafgan pic yet. but it will come. ooh, i could do sweater saterday's. cept quafgans are too big for seaters. i call my 'afgans' quafans, because they are like quilts.
have you heard of kaffe fasset? he saved me from having to buy enough for a whole sweater!
hmm, ijust got a sale flyer from that shop.
the best shop was a 2nd floor on the upper/mid west side and closest to my uncle.
got to that shop last.

i don't think purl was open when i went in 98'. course i love getting my yarn from webs. but i really must use what i have!
