FRIDAY ART BLOGGING-now for something COMPLETELY different
yes, my one any only embroidery. 7 years. started in high school. large. 2 feet by 3 1/2? not sure. but did fuck up my neck a bit. some things i would like to alter, but dammit. this is it. closest i have gotten in applique. trying to cover awfiul material on a QVC quilt. not doing much on it lately. so much else to do.

the 'circle' is actually 2 'eye' feather 'stems' conveniently covering the feet. it isn't so stark in person, i will have to get some detail pics. it is very layered. started with the green plant. each feathers strand is individual threads. oh, tedious it was. that is why i gave up on my dragonfly idea.
