RANDOM PHOTO POST
this was seen as we left spring green. i love old cars and i have tones of pictures of them. sigh. to have access to my old files. i did some photoshopping that could be a new art fair sale. we shall see. this car was a real cream puff. the interior very clean.

Is that a 59 or 60? My mental file seems to have shut down after 58. The year, not my age.

i was thinking older. but i don't know jack about years. was too busy taking photos to get a good look, but that is an awfully big trunk so it probably does retract. never seen one like it. must have been in storage most of its life tho.

The back end of the 57 looked a lot like "your" car IF you remove the light that's up in the fin.
My memory of the 58 is like the 57 except replace the single round light with a pair of side by side flat ones.
I think yours is a 59. Always thought the rear end was ugly: the spare tire kit makes it worse, never saw that in real life.
Saratoga? Must be a Chrysler.
You want fins? I took my first driver's test in a 57 DeSoto. It had a push-button automatic transmission; you don't see a lot of those around.

the oldest car i ever drove was a 67'. sigh. i miss her.
well, i hink you are right. cars seemed to get LONGER later. shit. mom's blue barge 73' new yorker was SOOOoooooo long. but then so were my delta 88's.
i miss those driving couches. i REALLY miss bench seats.
