ooh, i just checked CNN, to do their stupid quick vote(in case i can be anti-georgie) and headline says Boston lead singer dead.
OOH GOODIE! i hate Boston. no reunion tours!
bad pansypoo, BAD!
pfft. can't wait for an Eagle to go tho.
OH! BAD BAD!
don't let me start on Jerry Garcia!

i had to renew my licence today. OY, do they purposely have horrid lighting or something??? and i thought the previous one was bad! can i have a do-over??? of course maqybe i would look like that if i was pulled over....

Comments:
I renewed on Wednesday. It's not the lighting, but a combination of other factors: stress followed by relief, the unnatural pose, and just circumstances.
They want to get your eyes. They got my eyes, along with a lot of forehead and receding hairline as a result of tilting to avoiding the glare from my glasses(*).
The previous one wasn't bad, but the camera did a great job of picking up the filthy collar of the nominally white sweatshirt I had under my jacket. In that case I got in the car around 08:00 and then said something like: Shit! This may be the best I feel for days. Forget the grocery store. Head out to the drivers license place.
I did get a second shot once, but that was because I blinked at the wrong time. The retry looked goofy and bug-eyed from trying like hell not to blink.
(*) Just got my first pair of bifocals 4 weeks ago. Should have done it 5 years ago. Something I had never considered before is that the close-in part of bifocals is not like wearing a magic microscope, it's the distance prescription reduced so near things aren't blurred.

i am so glad i don't need glasses. almost the 4-0 and still have good vision. distance still excellent. but my close up is going. i can no longer see clear if something is 4" away. i think even that is pretty good right?
always was better than 20/20. and both sides of my gene pool wore glasses. except my dad. who needs reading glasses now. i am assuming it's my indian blood. all the krauts need glasses.
i do have reading glasses for when i do extreme tedious stuff on my watercolors.

my younger brother almost didn't pass the vision test when he renewed his.

and nobody will notice your collar. shit. i wore a hitler T-shirt to germanfest one year and nobody mentioned it.

You do need glasses: you said you have them; you're just not near-sighted. What you're experiencing comes with age. Your vision problems could be a whole lot worse: must be from having a pure heart and clean living. But then I was lucky I was wearing glasses the day I touched off a pile of thermite and the sparks took little chips out of the glass instead of my corneas.

yeah, mom has nformed me about 'old eyes'. i did wear 'safety' glasses why working on something that might might throw off something and i always wear sunglasses when i go outside. even in foggy weather. bright is bright. so either i am a vampire or a gremlin.

and the most discomfort EVER, was when i got a flake of plaster in my eye. art class in high school. god that was aweful.
