i knew i forgot something the last time i was in here.
RANDOM ESTATE XXXX #1
thurday i went to a southside sale. little WW2 'cape cod' filled to the brim with knick knacks, ducks, plates crap. a few antiques here and there. 'what is one side of a art's & crafts oak buffet dish cupboarddoing in her bedroom???' guy upstairs said she was a good seamstress. oy, i really need to cut back i think. my god was there stuff. did get some ebayables. one a late 1800 suede wordsworth poetry book. oy, yes, the ceramic giraffe is for me. and the smoosher.

wahl ave!!!! 2 blocks east of lake drive. BIG arts and crafts mansion. more for looking than shopping. lots of oak woodwork. did get a gevalia freebee coffee pot. gonna be a spare. but boy did they hae etchings. $$$. and one very damaged one of milwaukee way back in the mid 1800's. sailing ships on the milwaukee river! also 1800's fashion plates.very cool.
