have lots of baby red squirels this year. i've never seen so many. usual chippies too. and i was attacked by a red necked mother flicker the other day. I have pictures of her. she got a little ruffed up in the exchange and couldn't fly away afterward so i took some pictures of her while she rallied back to full power. i'll post pics as soon as i get em back. but she finally recovered and flew off. it was real weird being mugged by a bird.
