speaking of stupid cats. basil has taken to lounging on my 'desk'(2 old endtables next to each other. or the mouse pad, actually he is big, so half of him. the BIG ass half. if you lift him, all the weight is in his ass. he has wanted more attention.

AL-KINDI, Abu Yusuf- philosopher to the arabs, circa 961ish. very literate, many 'books'/trities/writings? and AND was the 1st to revolt against islamism. translated aristotle. just thought it was interesting that in that area, to be against Islam and his name to survive. he must have done some good writing.
