speaking of monkeys....

i went to an estate sale in a favorite neighborhood. the other side of the block of my grandparents house. sigh. talk about tradgedies. in the basement i spotted cabinets that shoulod have been in the kitchen. UH OH. 70's! and there was a room decorated extra groovy for the kids!
in the attic i spotted stained glass doors that should have been on the bookshelves alongside the fireplace.
and yes, the kitchen had been moded up. BLEGH! what a crime against an arts and crafts duplex. AND the woodwork painted.
but i did find some goodies. a carved wooden dude. have yet to decide if he is asian or pacific. doesn't look quite african to me. and there was a ton of asian shit. also found an asian woodcut print. must investigate. who know what i got for $3.

and at a second one i was bad bad bad. another heater. but but but it's an arvin and better condition than my other one. must part with that one now.
i would rather have a smaller one, but gotta take what i can find.
