and now for something completely different.
A recipe! and not just any recipe. this is my Great aunt's caramel apple recipe. but it is better as an apple dip. easier to eat AND MORE CARAMEL!
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup light Karo syrup (cooking eisle)
1/8 teaspoon salt(5 shakes of shaker is good)
15 ounce condensed(sweetened) milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
put it all in a double boiler on med low and stir ocasionally til thinkened and sugar has disolved
it will be softer than typical caramel, that's why it is better for dipping.
keep in fridge, but warm to room temp at least for dipping.
now enjoy. it is quite easy to make.
